BRONX MOST WANTED ENTERTAINMENT was started by CEO Treston Irby in 1998 As an Artist; it was his vision to form a company that understood Artists and the way they wanted to be treated. Using his vision as a foundation, the Official Hi Five found a home at Bronx Most Wanted Entertainment, bringing R&B music that is relevant and trend setting. In 2012 Bronx Most wanted Entertainment became a legitimate company being distributed by Sony/Orchard.
TRESTON IRBY is a member of the R&B platinum group Hi-Five, which was signed to Jive Records and released their first album, in 1990. This album went multi-platinum and was produced by award-winning hit maker Teddy Riley; it included such singles as “I Just Can’t Handle It”, “I Can’t Wait Another Minute”, and their biggest hit to date, “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)”, which went to number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The group enjoyed mainstream success and received comparisons to many of their R&B counterparts, namely New Edition.
HI-FIVE second LP, Keep It Goin’ On, came out in 1992. Several tracks from this album, including “She’s Playing Hard to Get” and the R. Kelly-penned “Quality Time” received major airplay and appeared on Billboards top 100 songs. In 1993, Hi-Five produced a third album, Faithful, which featured the songs “Unconditional Love” from the Movie Menace to Society and “Never Should Have Let You Go” from Whoopi Goldberg’s’ Sister Act II. the group had 10 top singles on U.S. Billboard’s Hot 100. Bronx Most Wanted Entertainment Company continues to work to create new sounds for 2022.
